Wide Sky. Long Road.

I have always loved the big blue open skies of Michigan.  And road trips on a Sunny Day are always better than not-so-sunnny-days.  This day was doubly delightful because I was listening to Anil's Ghost by Michael Ondaatje -- a book that magically combined themes that resonate with me:  anthropology, justice, faraway places, returning to a home/not-home, mysteriously engaging ascetic character. And most of the day to be quiet and by myself, the road unspooling before me.
