View from the Patio

If you crop everything carefully enough, every point of view looks luxurious and wonderful. Decadent In it's resplendence. Sometimes you'll have to move the camera really really close, in order to crop out the difficult bits. Other times will depend on the surprising and heretofore unrecognized contrast that only becomes apparent after the frame has been superimposed. There's always a line, sometimes so fine that you don't even know when you've crossed it, but the line between full-grown and overgrown, between in-bloom and rotting is a recurring theme of existence. A well cropped photo obscures these troubles and offers similar pleasures to a well told tale --a beginning, an end & a thing that invites you to look at it, see it and be content.
