The Procastination Blog Series.
I'm about to enter an EXTREMELY busy month and a half. I'm finishing a cycle of documentary short subject films -- short portraits really of strangers. I'm beginning the academic year. And my family has typicallly overwhelming commitments constraining our collective lives.
I find that these moments are the ones that I"m MOST drawn to blogging. Partly about procrastination, but more about a little agency and a little non-binding creative connection with people far away that I love.
To say nothing of quelling my never-ending appetite for curatorial and archival work....
Here's an art piece I made today. I call it:
JUST BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP.
(the title is a long story, but these are short blog entries. just go with it.)
