WHAT IS THE ART MACHINE?

It’s us. 

It’s a mode of being. 

It’s a mashup of both machining and arting - we turn things into art. We turn everything into art. 

Art is a mode of transcending experience and a mode of diving into concrete experience.

Everything that happens is a gift, but the gift is only activated when we turn it into art.

THE FIVE PRECEPTS

When we bump into an obstacle that won’t go away, we put it in the art machine.

When we feel surges of creative energy, we put them in the art machine.

The art machine reworks these unformed small pieces into aesthetic and narrative wholeness.

Everytime you try, it will get better. (It’s not a proverb anymore, it’s a rule.   Remaking. Reworking. Re-releasing.)

Ideas should fly free.  (It’s not just a youtube series anymore.  It’s a sub-manifesto itself: Give it away, it was never just yours. It’s all, also yours.)
