On The Making of Horror Fonts

When enough Bramble has overgrown the sign that tells you that there is no Thruway? And the peeling of the letters looks like a possible spell has been placed on the property? Or maybe that a serial murderer has been squatting there for the last few years… I’m not sure that the sign is really Even needed anymore?

I think when my friend Alyssa coined the term “horror font” — I think she was mostly talking about lettering and design dimensions in a particular font. I think this sign makes a convincing argument that a “horror font” can be created by vegetation, weather and neglect.
